Providing critical support, legal guidance, and compassionate care for families impacted by police violence—every step of the way.
Advocacy Duties:

Liaison between police department, BCI and family to keep families updated on investigation

Formal notifications to family member of the deceased

Legal Assessment of case providing legal assistance when necessary

Support system and resources available to the families including grief counseling, burial information, victim resources, etc.

Post investigation, advocate group will continue providing resources to family members until deemed unnecessary
Care Packages:

Funeral homes that take down payments, and make payment arrangements

Churches that will let people have their funeral service at their church with small or no payment

Places that will donate clothing for the deceased
